Dinardo, Ph.D.
Quentin Dinardo, Ph.D. is a consulting psychologist, founder and
President of QED Consulting, Inc., a career management firm.
Dr. Dinardo began his professional career in 1971 as a staff psychologist
at the Houston Veterans Administration Medical Center where he served
for ten years. In addition to his clinical responsibilities he became
a founding member of an organization development team who's mission
was to improve the quality of health care delivery throughout the
VA system. He and the other four members of the team received Certificates
of Merit from the US Surgeon General. During the same ten year period,
he also held the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology at
the University of Houston Department of Psychology and at the Baylor
College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry.
Throughout his professional career, he has maintained a private
practice of clinical and consulting services. In the early 1990's
his attention turned to Sport Psychology when he founded and directed
the Performance Institute at the Houstonian Fitness Center. Here
he developed programs, first for athletes and later for managers,
executives and entrepreneurs.
His primary expertise is in the assessment and development of peak
performance. By combining his background in both clinical and consulting
psychology, Dr. Dinardo has developed a unique and highly effective
approach to working with top executives and entrepreneurs. He specializes
in helping his clients move through barriers and limitations, expanding
their capacity to achieve maximum success.
Dr. Dinardo holds a BA in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
from the University of Houston and completed an internship in organization
development at the National Training Laboratories Institute of Applied
Behavioral Sciences. He is licensed as a psychologist in Texas,
a member of the American Psychological Association and the National
Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology. He is also
a member of The National Speakers Association and the American Society
for Clinical Hypnosis.
He has been a teacher and lecturer throughout his career and he
has conducted numerous workshops and seminars. He has been a regular
guest on talk show radio, speaking on performance and human motivation.
